A striking, very sculptural, large cabinet Sulfur on aragonite specimen from the famous mines at Agrigento, Italy. Vivid, canary-yellow, gemmy and lustrous Sulfur crystals richly cover the undulating, fluted matrix covered with translucent, lustrous, tan aragonite crystals. Superb pink fluorescence on the aragonite. Classic, older and impressive material from this historic locale. Ex. Robert Fender Collection and dates to the 1960s or early 1970s.
