This is a fine and really WEIRD Namibian gem topaz crystal. It is absolutely gemmy in the interior. The surface is what is strange - with alternating flat, glassy faces and naturally etched areas with scalloped form. It is complete all around and terminated (also weirdly), with the slight contact only at the bottom where it was removed from the matrix.
