Naica is one of the most famous localities in Mexico, and among its many great species are the incredible Gypsums that it has produced. This very fine cluster has crystals that are totally gemmy, with faces that are clear to beautifully striated. The edges along the terminations have a natural rounding to them that adds a great deal of visual interest, and the Calcite along the bottom is highly fluorescent. There are lots of great Naica Gypsums out there, but this has an unusual aesthetic all its own. For the size range in particular, it is a real "collector specimen" of quality and not just the average example you often see. Remarkably, it is free of damage.
