Berg Aukas is one of the most famous Smithsonite localities in the world. I have seen a wide variety of habits and colors of Smithsonites from this great locality, and this piece is no exception. It features a few sharp, very gemmy, beautiful green color modified rhombohedra of Smithsonite sitting atop beige-white color Willemite on matrix. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
