A GORGEOUS, pristine, doubly terminated and twinned, colorless to rose-tinted, glassy calcite crystal from the famous and now-closed White Pine Mine of Michigan"s Copper Country. The dusting of malachite adds character to this excellent piece from the Lance T. Hampel Collection. Hampel was a well-known Copper Country dealer and collector. MUCH BETTER In PERSON, as the glassyness made photography difficult. 5.2 x 2.6 x 1.9 cm
