Hosted in a concave vug of massive cuprite are octahedrons of metallic, brick-red cuprite to 1.1 cm in length. The condition of most of the crystals is good with only the very slightest contact at the periphery. Overall it is in superb shape for such a large piece from this find, especially considering the survival story they went through. 580 grams
