A rare, gemmy Aquamarine from Bulgaria, this lustrous, ice-blue crystal has vibrant color saturation and very good gemminess. The terminations are etched. The crystal is internally crazed, and being so gemmy, this creates a dazzling, almost psychedelic look. This is a textbook toenail Aquamarine from a most unusual locale, and was likely collected in the Rhodope Mountains prior to the 1930s. Aesthetic, and very important for the locality.
