Classic Wulfenite/Mimetite combination specimens from the San Francisco Mine only came out in the 1970s and in the early 1990s. This fine, small cabinet specimen is 1970s vintage, as it was acquired by Art Soregaroli in 1986. This specimen is very showy and colorful, with neon-orange, lustrous, GEM Wulfenite crystals adorned with deep orange Mimetite balls. The largest Wulfie is 1.6 cm and the Mimetites reach up to about 2-3 mm, with most being 1-2 mm. The piece is not pristine - no surprise given the fragility and age of these - but it is pretty close. This small cabinet has good dimensionality, and fine aesthetics.
