From what has to be amongst the most famous single calcite finds of the modern era in China, these sharp crystals came out around 2000. A fine thumbnail specimen of a 2.3 cm wide, beautiful, glassy, V-twinned, butterfly calcite crystal mounted on a shard of matrix. Classic and textbook calcite twinning.
