A large, complete all-around, doubly terminated, gemmy and intensely striated ettringite crystal from the N'Chwaning II Mine of South Africa. The tapered, pinacoid termination is wonderfully gemmy. The overall shape and inclusions make this a very interesting ettringite. The basal termination is mostly complete, with a partial contact. This is a large and very highly representative specimen of the species and locale. Ex. Rob Smith Collection.
