This is a SHARP specimen with metallic, cherry-red, gemmy crystals to 1 cm. These are considered by most folks to have been the finest proustites for their species, and came out in the late 1800s. Seldom do you see ANYTHING at all on the market today, by way of Chanarcillo proustite. And this, for a miniature, is nicely displayable and at a fair price. I need to note that it is sawed from previous owner's trimming, on the backside, but displays nicely from the front anyhow 3.4 x 2.5 x 2.25 cm
