A superb cabinet calcite scalenohedron from the Sweetwater Mine of Missouri's Viburnum Trend. The pristine, excellent crystal has a striking interior phantom that is dusted with marcasite microcrystals. The phantom is light gray, grading upward at the tip to a stunning, gemmy, golden amber. Ex. Dr. Gary Hansen Collection, which dates the piece to the 1970s or early 1980s.
