A showy, gemmy and lustrous, polychrome tourmaline on lepidolite matrix from the very famous Tourmaline Queen Mine of California. The body of the tourmaline is a gemmy, pastel-pink and is capped by a 4 mm, very gemmy, green layer. The pinacoid termination is frosted and the very trivial, termination edge wear is barely noticeable. The backlit photo highlights the color variations and crystal gemminess. I got this from Ed SWoboda, who mined it many years ago 4.1 x 2.1 x 2.0 cm
