A cluster of gemmy, sharply formed, pink-red rhodonite crystals from a 2019 find at the old mine of Morro da Mina, Brazil. There are almost a dozen gemmy crystals of rhodonite that comprise this miniature. Each crystal glows a translucent to gemmy, rich, evenly distributed pink-red color and EVERY crystal on this piece is terminated with crystals. Crystals are stubby to slightly elongated with a squarish cross-section ranging in size from 0.7 to 2.3 cm in length. Prism faces are very lustrous and terminations vary from lustrous to satiny. This is one of the nicest rhodonite clusters (most are just singles) we've seen from Brazil in recent years as it is particularly showy with exceptional crystal form and translucency. Discrete crystals of rhodonite are not common, especially without damage such as this one which is pristine! This piece is particularly aesthetic!
