We have here another large, aesthetic plate of intergrown fluorapophyllite and stilbite crystals the size of a dinner plate.. in excellent condition and with a really beautiful color contrast. The fluorapophyllite crystals reach 4.1 cm across and are lustrous and translucent, bicolored light and faint green. They are actually, unusually, more intense on the side faces than on the front flat faces. The stilbite crystals, some of which blossom into a bowtie form, are lustrous with a pleasing, pastel pink color. From the January 2014 pocket.
