Arsenopyrites have been devalued by the large quantities coming out of China, but that has nothing to do with an old German specimen such as this one, out of the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen. Though there are some contacts here, you can see four sharp crystals embedded in the matrix, to 0.8 cm, as well as a vein of massive arsenopyrite running through the matrix behind them.
