We have been trying to lay our hands on every affordable specimen of garnet from the Jeffrey Mine we can since the closing of the mine and the drying up of the supply. This specimen has super-gemmy crystals to 0.5 cm, on a bed of small green diopside crystals. 5.1 x 3.6 x 1.9cm
