Collected in 1969 by Benny Fenn, from a one-time find at a small prospect. It was a small prospect, not even a developing mine, that never panned out. And despite attempts to find another mimetite pocket, no more ever came out after one load in 1969 that was sold off at the Tucson show of that year. Here you have a fine, 3-dimensional specimen- a vertical tower of light gossan matrix coated by sparkling balls of botryoidal mimetite. The color is a very intense orangey-yellow hue.
