This is an exceptional Topaz/Smoky Quartz combination specimen from Klein Spitzkopje. The clear gemmy Topaz is 4.5 cm tall and 2.5 cm thick (and 83 grams total weight). It has brilliant to frosted faces, and a unique termination. What is so unique are the three supporting Smoky Quartz crystals, which are tabular, included by many Schorl needles, and wrapped around the Topaz on three of the major faces. Ex. Charlie Key stock.
