A fine and most unusual specimen of sand-included, doubly terminated calcite crystals. This complete-all-around floater piece, with only slight rubbing, is from a long defunct South Dakota locality - Rattlesnake Butte. The crystals have sharp hexagonal form and this striking piece looks just like a dirigible or blimp with the passenger gondola underneath. Old material from the Dennis Mullane Collection and very rarely available.
