A superb cluster of deepest, royal blue, cavansite, with iridescent luster is perched on a matrix of drusy, tan, stilbite. The color is as deeply saturated as they come. The cavansite cluster measures a whopping 4 cm across and 2 cm in depth. Except for minor bruising on the upper curve to the rear as shown, the cavansite cluster is perfect. In person, you just display it a bit more level with the undamaged side facing you, and it glows and shimmers like almost no other mineral. The piece LOOKS like it should cost a fortune, given the size and quality of the cavansite, but the minor bruising allows me to get it and offer it at a far lower price, and thus it gives a LOT of bang for the buck.
