A wonderful "Alpine Type" specimen consisting of sharp, lustrous, gem/gemmy, deep green prismatic diopside crystals associated with small, whitish, blocky albite. This specimen came to Rich Kosnar about twelve years ago, and I personally have not seen many of them on the market in quite some time. A great association specimen from one of the premier "cleft" localities in Pakistan. The quality of the Diopside crystals is certainly on par with many pieces I have seen from the Italian Alps. Ex. Richard Kosnar Collection.
