A rare and seldom available specimen from the historic Andacollo Mine of the Coquimbo Region of Chile. The crystals of an aesthetic copper crystal cluster with a "feather" at the top are coated with microscopic bits of bright, rich, yellow gold. The elongate, main body is a single spinel-twin, as are most of the other larger crystals. Tiny tetrahexahedrdal crystals are dotted on the spinel-twins. Classic, old-time and seldom available material from this famous locale. Ex. Jaime Bird Collection.
