A fine galena crystal might be a rarity in a competitive thumbnail collection - but THIS one stands out both for aesthetics and the historical importance of having a galena from a point in time, where the label gives its very different French-German-English names! Stacked, lustrous, galena crystals, to 6 mm across, form an intergrown cluster that happens to also be a gorgeous thumbnail specimen. Accompanied by an old Krantz label from 1836 (noted on the back and also matching the MR label database for this time period), and another old French label.
