DISCRETE, ISOLATED, gemmy, cherry-red rhodonite crystals on a beautifully contrasting white-coated matrix specimen from the NEW FIND in Brazil. This is the first time, that we have offered discrete crystals at auction and they are RARE. The sharp, pointed crystal is nearly perfect at 3.0 cm. The other large crystal is well-formed, but is probably contacted on the top. This remains a very SHOWY, HIGHLY REPRESENTATIVE and excellent specimen for the species and it is not from Broken Hill. This piece is particularly aesthetic.
