Superb sets of wheat sheaf Calcite clusters sitting atop a cluster of Fluorites. The Calcites are tan, lustrous, and they reach up to 3 cm tip-to-tip. The wheat sheaf habit is rare and highly desirable in this and other species, especially when it is so well developed, as you see here. On top of all this, the Calcites have a striking blue-white fluorescence. The yellow Fluorites are well-formed and reach up to 2.2 cm in size and, together with the Calcites, they form an excellent and aesthetic combination. Mined in 1990. RCL0038. Unusual and organic-looking in person, this is NOT the average calcite.
