A striking and delicate small cabinet specimen from the Botallack District of Cornwall. There must be thousands of Copper crystals in this piece. They range from rounded compound stacks to over a centimeter to fine, almost twinned wires. The piece is so intricate that it looks like a natural filigree. Great aesthetics, and much better in person. The area around this historic mine was intermittently active from the late 1700s until 1990. This came out of one of the old collections obtained by Obodda over the years. If we had a specific mine name, it would honestly be double the value. But all we know is that it is from Cornwall.
