A rarity today: this stout, lustrous and translucent, apple green crystal of diopside, is from the major Chinese find in the 199 I . Partially included by chlorite, the color is a dark forest green. This would have been among the larger ones to come out, in that time. I have not seen any of this caliber on the market in many years.
