Water clear rhombs of lustrous calcite, some tinged reddish-brown by hematite, reach 2.0 cm across. From the James E. Moresby White collection. This is a spectacularly showy, large plate of high quality and minimal damage only, notable for the extremely high luster and "sparkliness," as well as the size. Ex. Carnegie Museum Collection.
