This locality has produced the finest Weloganite specimens in the world, and has not produced pieces in over 25 years. This piece is a superb quality thumbnail with classic form, sharpness and the typically yellowish hue. The crystal faces show good luster for this material, and it is translucent throughout. The piece is associated with minor Smoky Quartz on the crystal. Ex. Kosnar Collection.
