The Kurutag mountains in China can't rival Red Cloud in age but they certainly rival the quality of wulfenite. The first finds started coming out in the fall of 2006 from a remote area with similar geology and climate to that of the great Arizona/Mexico Wulfenite province. This brightly colored thumbnail has pristine crystals, up to 5mm, and it is fully crystallized. Overall, an attractive and aesthetic specimen that will draw attention to itself in a case, even though it is small in size.
