A good example of this truly rare species from Langban, Sweden, the type and only locality. The piece consists of a 0.2 mm, subhedral, gray-green grain in a matrix of snow-white calcite. Wermlandite is a structurally complex magnesium aluminum calcium hydroxide hydrate. Ex. Paulo Matioli collection and also has a Dakota Matrix label.
