For all the world, these Vanadinites look like fine Pyromorphites, and for many years they got away with this masquerade in marketing them in the late 1960s and 1970s when they came out befor ethe red ones for which Morocco is now famous. Now we know better. These barrel-shaped crystals, up to .8 cm, have good color, excellent luster, and a nice translucence, and are superb vanas', not pyros! This a terrific specimen, well above average for the location and style.
