Calcite
This is a HUGE crystal of golden calcite, an old tri-state classic. Remarkably for its size, it is DAMAGE-FREE, and has a fine, sharp termination. The bottom is the flat cleavage plane where it was removed from the matrix. It sits right up, and in fact the prior owner applied two pieces of felt to the cleavage face and just let it sit like that. very impressive! these are old, from the 1940s thru 60s, and in this size and condition hard to get now 20.2 x 12.8 x 10.7 cm
