A rich, old-time specimen of orpiment crystals on both sides of a matrix of solid, massive orpiment from a classic Japanese locale - Jozankei, Sapporo, Hokkaido Island. The translucent, burnt-orange to golden-yellow crystals reach 2.2 cm on this old-time specimen, which is accompanied by two labels in German. Ex. George Elling Collection.
