Half a dozen nice-sized and a scattering of smaller spinel crystals (largest measures 0.8 cm tip-to-tip) on a stark, contrasting matrix of white marble. These are the exception, as you so often see spinel crystals off the matrix; they are really striking against the white background, and here you have a whole bunch of them rather than the usual single crystal. 8.2 x 6.7 x 3.9cm
