This rich and very colorful cabinet specimen is nearly solid brochantite. The sculptural, vuggy matrix hosts sparkly, emerald-green brochantite microcrystals in the vugs, scintillating tiny, lighter green brochantite needles and massive green brochantite. Several varieties of brochantite, all in one large piece. This old piece is from the Grandview Mine of Arizona, which is in the Grand Canyon National Park and you cannot collect from there today. The last production from this mine was in 1916. Ex. Dennis Mullane Collection.
