An intensely blue and gemmy, lustrous pair of parallel-growth topaz crystals from the famous St. Annes Mine of Zimbabwe. This beautiful blue color saturation is seldom matched in any worldwide topaz locality. The topaz crystals have the classic chisel terminations. The specimen is complete and undamaged on three sides. The fourth side is cleaved. An old, faded label accompanying the specimen indicates that it was found prior to 1980, when Southern Rhodesia was renamed Zimbabwe.
