Yellow Mimetites are high in the collector's pantheon of Tsumeb minerals, and these sharp and attractive crystals show why. Slender and tapered, this habit is one of the most recognizable for Mimetites from here. The luster of these 2-4 mm yellow crystals is very good, and they range from translucent to gemmy. Unsurprisingly, several of these exposed crystals are missing, but to the normal eye that hardly affects the fine aesthetics. A fine, old classic from Tsumeb, the world’s most famous Copper mine.
