Arsenopyrite specimens have been pouring out of the Yaogangxian Mine in China in such quantity for the past few years that it is easy to under appreciate good specimens from other worldwide localities. This old-timer is from the classic Zacatecas locality, and it is a really good one! There are brassy crystals to 1.5 cm with just one contact on the main cluster - the crystals are nicely set in a bed of calcite, quartz and chalcopyrite. From the collection of noted California collector Charles Hansen.
