A sharp, euhedral, lustrous, indigo-blue, 1.2 x 1.1 cm, spinel crystal jauntily perched on contrasting off-white matrix from the Crazy Sphinx Mine in Helena, Montana. This is a highly representative and uncommon specimen from this locality, even with some (minimal but present) termination damage. Ex Bart Cannon Collection.
