Olmiite
A striking, totally different styled cabinet plate of olmiite from the new, Fall 2008 find at the N'Chwaning II Mine of South Africa. This fine, 3-dimensional specimen is covered with very glassy and gemmy, rose-brown to tan, elongated orthorhombic crystals, rather than the bowtie-like balls of many of the smaller specimens. This is an outstanding, large example from this find.
