This is a stunningly colored pyromorphite from the Steve Smale collection, recently exchanged out of him. He picked many of the best of these, when they first came out (around 2001). This juicy neon colored material came out first and still today, despite much mining here, the style hasn't been equaled. This is a dramatic specimen with sweeping 3-dimensional clusters running across it, and adding depth. The luster is like glass, the color looks fake...I rate these as one of the most exciting finds of the last decade, and few of this quality are now available for acquisition.
