Outstanding, modified octahedron of Galena perfectly set on a matrix of sharp Dolomite rhombs. The 3.2 cm Galena is sharp and has very good metallic luster. The Dolomites, which range up to about .9 cm, have good luster that can catch the light beautifully. What really makes this piece, though, are the perfect placements of the modified faces on the upright Galena. With these modifications facing forward and upwards, dead center, the aesthetics of this old-timer jump up a whole level. A terrific miniature.
