Collected in 1910, this is a classic specimen from Minas de Horcajo, one of Spain's most famous mineral localities. The yellow-green crystals have very good luster and an usual hoppered, elongated habit: the normally barrel-shaped Pyromorphites are grouped en echelon, reaching up one upon another in this floral pattern. Choice pieces from the old mine, such as these, are now very difficult to obtain. It also happens to be extremely beautiful on its own merits, with a unique color and as a bonus, the excellent provenance.
