From one of the greatest elbaite discoveries, this Jonas Mine specimen is a rich, cranberry color, and is both transparent and lustrous.Good to great specimens from this find are getting hard to find and expensive. A "JONAS" tourmaline is one of those essentials, to which all other rubellites are compared. this was the most famous tourmaline find of the century, perhaps ever, to most folks' way of thinking. This cranberry-colored elbaite is from the famous pocket in the late 1970's. 4.7 x 1.6 x 0.8 cm
