This is an extremely hard-to-obtain, old-timer Massachussets aquamarine - a WHOPPER, dating back almost a century, to the 1920's. These are of course nothing to jump around about from an aesthetic standpoint, but as a locality piece of American beryl, it is quite something! This huge crystal has super-sharp hexagonal form. It is partially terminated on one end. Not the most beautiful aqua in the world by any stretch but it is what it is, and all the faces are complete save one that has some contact from matrix removal part-way up the face. Ex. Elling Collection.
