This large, lovely, matrix plate is studded with intergrown crystals of both rich pastel green fluorapophyllite and salmon-pink stilbite. The fluorapophyllite crystals, to 4.5 cm across, are lustrous and translucent. The stilbite crystals reach 5.5 cm across, have a flowery appearance and exhibit a richer pastel pink color than most of this pocket. Overall, a gorgeous large specimen in remarkable condition, the size of a dinner plate! From the January 2014 pocket.
