As the photo and size indicates, this is quite simply a MAJOR emerald crystal from the locality for its size, perfect form, and color saturation, which is much deeper than one usually gets from the NC locality. The color is truly deep for a North Carolina crystal, actually approaching Colombian in hue. It is complete all around, fully terminated atop, and has just one repair (remarkable, given the size, for this locality). Joe Budd photo.
