The famous basalt quarries near Jalgaon have produced a stunning variety of beautiful zeolite specimens and this is an excellent cabinet example. A striking cluster of pearlescent, tan stilbite crystals rests on a shard of basalt matrix. The impressive, large stilbite bowtie is 10.5 cm across. The two large stilbites are complete- all-around and pristine. Hidden in a vug on the left side are a few glassy, gem-like, colorless apophyllite crystals. Impressive material from this classic locale.
